The Most Addicting iPhone Apps of 2009

by Mario Green
I’ve had my iPhone for over a year now, and I love the apps on the phone. There’s no better way for me to pass the time now, whether I’m riding on the train or waiting for an appointment to begin.

The library of games available for download continues to grow, and each month I see some great new additions to the list. By the time you read this article, I’ll probably have moved on to some more great iPhone games. Either way, these are some games that are definitely worth checking out. I’m going to give you three that I think you’ll enjoy.

If you’ve never played Paper Toss, I would recommend downloading it. It’s a free game, so you have nothing to lose by trying it out. All you have to do is take a crumpled piece of paper and throw it into a garbage across the room.

With three levels, you can determine the distance from the garbage and the strength of a fan that’s blowing the paper in different directions. Depending on the strength and placement of your push, the paper may or may not get into the garbage.

2. ESPN’s Cameraman. This is a great game that’s just like the photo hunt game you’ve probably played in bars. Playing against a timer, you must recognize the differences in two pictures before the timer runs out. It’s incredibly fun.

All of the questions are sports-themed, and they’re really challenging too. I would definitely look into this one if it sounds like it may appeal to you.

3. Scramble. This game is just like Boggle, only you can play it online against over 100 people all at once. I love the idea of competing against others, which makes this game extremely addicting once you take the pride factor into consideration.

Try any of these games out. Based on their overall popularity, I have a feeling you’ll enjoy them very much.

Mobile Phone Screen Protector

by Andrew Benford
In our modern world, mobile phones have become an essential accessory. They are now a major part of everyone’s life. Especially those people who have busy lives, or love gadgets.

An often overlooked, but must-have accessory, is the mobile phone screen protector. Since mobile phones are now of significant value to us, it makes sense to protect them from our busy daily use. I bet every mobile phone you have had, become scratched and knocked within a very short time.

Screen protector mainly protects the screen of your mobile phone. The name says it all. A screen protector is made of clear plastic with an adhesive on the back which sticks on the screen of the mobile phone.

Maybe your mobile phone came with a screen protector? The stock screen protector is often a simple thin plastic, which does not stick well and degrades the screen image. You will also find that stock screen protectors curl away from the surface and collect dirt.

For those people who have purchased a more sophisticated device, such as an iPhone, Pocket PC or Smart Phone, the screen is more prone to scratches. A tap or run from a fingernail or stylus can often leave a scratch which cannot be removed. A good durable screen protector will stop your device from such problems, whilst also delivering a clear image.

Aside from scratches, mobile phones also collect dust, grease and fingerprints. It seems easy enough to wipe it clean with a short sleeve or lint free cloth, but this often just results in the grease and dust smudging and blurring the screen. A good screen protector can be removed and washed, or even repel dust and grease. You may also wish to consider a protector that covers the back and sides of your mobile phone.

Mobile phone screen protectors are usually inexpensive compared to other mobile accessories. So there’s really no reason you can’t get one for your phone. Besides, the cost of the screen protector is just a very small fraction of the cost of your mobile phone.
